Oh Breastfeeding.. You love and you hate.
This blog post has been long over due but baby girl is officially four weeks and I think I've officially got a hang of things.
You want the best for your baby but no one said that giving and having the best comes easy. Breastfeeding can be extremely difficult, especially at the beginning. The first two weeks were the hardest for me. From the exhaustion to the painful breasts. The key to breastfeeding and breast pumping is you must push through the pain. Im so thankful that my baby is great at latching on.. but my booby-milk experience hasn't been the easiest. I've experienced times where I felt that I needed to produce more milk which was super fustrating. Realizing when I started taking better care my nutritional needs and relaxing my milk came flooding in lol. Here's some good info for moms if you want some insight on breastfeeding. There's tons of benefits! Breastfeeding Tips
Now lets talk breast pump.
Seems very scary the first time you pump, but no fear because the pump is your friend. It all give your boobies a break and lets daddy get a bottle for feeding time. Which means mommy gets Sleep, or everything else thats on our lovely list.
The pump that I currently use is the Spectra Baby USA. You can check out there amazing products here! SPECTRA
Not only do I LOOOVEEE the aesthetics ( I got the blinged out one ) and it goes so well with her nursery but I enjoyed pumping with no pain. The different cycles and massage cycle helped when first time pumping. Definitely recommend this pump to those who want a pump that is sensitive to the breast.
Plus its the cutest!
